Artist Statement:
     “One of my great joys is sitting outside and sketching.  On the best days, when I draw, time vanishes and I can begin to simply become one more piece of the landscape. Over the last 17 years I have treasured my time drawing and painting at Dickinson’s Reach, particularly during my 2016 residency, when I got to watch winter slip into Spring. I hope that these images convey some of the wonder, awe and gratitude that I feel for this amazing place, for Bill Coperthwaite, and for the people who come together to continue breathing love and life into Dickinson’s Reach.”

We invite you to take a walk at DR, using the public trail to the Mill Pond.  The yurts are often occupied, and we protect the privacy of the residents, so please do not walk in without permission.
